IHN Family
Centers
|
|
The Family
Centers are unique parts of the Network. They provide a safe,
comfortable, home-like place for families to spend their days, and a
stable address from which they can work to establish financial
independence. The following are some of the many social services offered at
our Washington and Crafton Family Centers:
- Creation of
a service plan
- Case
management services
- Referral
information to aid in reaching goals
- Access to
other services and agencies
- A
consistent place to come “home” to in a time of upheaval
- A temporary
address and phone number so the guests can receive mail and phone
calls regarding housing and jobs.

IHN Staff
Guests work
with our staff
at each Family Center to set priorities and take the steps necessary to gain
self-sufficiency. Services are comprehensive and tailored to
address specific family issues, and are often continued after families
leave the Network.

Meals, Laundry and
Personal Hygiene
Guests use
each
Family Center kitchen to prepare their lunches and
snacks, and store groceries.
The laundry room at each Family Center has a washer and dryer, providing families a daily
opportunity to wash and dry clothing.
Complete bathrooms make it
convenient for guests to shower or bathe on a daily basis.
