Other Donations
United Way #10151
in Southwestern Pennsylvania
Why not ask people at your work to designate IHN through their United
Way Donor Option program? When making contributions to United Way, please designate Interfaith
Hospitality Network of the South Hills by using
Donor Option # 10151
in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Donated Vehicles
Donating a vehicle in good condition will provide one of our families
with an important means of transportation, providing them the mobility
they need to accept employment where public transportation isn't always
available.
Since your vehicle is donated directly to those in need, instead of just
being sold outright by our organization, the full Blue Book value can be
used for qualified income tax deductions. Therefore, this method of
donation will probably help you realize a higher tax deduction value
from your vehicle. To
discuss the donation of a vehicle, phone 724-229-1129 to speak with a member of the IHN Staff.
Host
Congregations & Volunteers
Host congregations are the "spokes of the wheel" in our Networks. More
host churches are needed in Washington County and Allegheny
County. Would your church be interested? If so,
contact IHN today
for more information.
Volunteers are needed to assist with transportation, meals and
overnights at our host churches. Handyman skills are always needed to
help maintain the Family Centers in Washington, PA and Crafton, PA.
